Role Overview
We seek an Associate Director with expertise in at least two Workday HCM modules such as Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Security, or Learning. You will lead functional delivery across diverse industries, offering architectural guidance and managing client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide architectural advice on Workday HCM functionalities to meet client objectives.
- Conduct workshops to analyze current and desired business processes, perform gap assessments, and lead business process re-engineering efforts.
- Collect and refine business requirements, engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand desired outcomes.
- Leverage Workday HCM expertise to lead system design, configuration, and collaborate with developers to produce technical documentation.
- Test developed solutions and evaluate their suitability against requirements.
- Support the Application Support team with post-implementation service tickets and enhancements.
- Build relationships and contribute to knowledge sharing within Deloitte and with clients.
- Recommend improvements to methods, procedures, and job functions.
- Engage regularly with client subject matter experts.
Practice Development Responsibilities
- Offer expert views on functional design and integration approaches.
- Participate in continuous improvement and innovation within the Workday practice.
- Support and contribute actively to the growth of the Workday team.
Business Development Duties
- Play an active role in pre-sales activities and bid preparation.
- Identify upselling opportunities within current client engagements.
- Help grow the business by delivering sales opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Over 6 years' experience implementing Workday HCM solutions across multiple industries, including solution architecture and at least two full implementation lifecycles.
- Certified and experienced in a minimum of two Workday HCM modules as listed above.
- Strong subject matter expertise in HCM business processes, best practices, and relevant legislation, preferably within New Zealand.
- Skilled in business analysis with attention to detail, capable of creating high-quality specifications and documentation.
- Effective communicator who encourages change management and builds trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Proven business development skills, including managing relationships and responding to RFPs.
