Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator role involves assisting in crafting and implementing marketing campaigns that focus on the Vancouver Canucks Community, Retail, People, and Fan Experience projects. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing, this position requires building strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to meet campaign goals effectively. Note this is a maternity leave term position based in Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to strategic planning, development, and rollout of various marketing campaigns supporting Vancouver Canucks initiatives.
- Help design marketing plans that meet campaign objectives, ensuring all elements comply with brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate with in-house teams including Content, Design, and Digital to develop strategic and persuasive briefs aimed at outcomes such as lead generation, brand awareness, and fundraising.
- Employ project management tools such as workback schedules, RACI charts, and project charters to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality campaign delivery.
- Assist with campaign approval workflows by facilitating timely sign-offs and managing required revisions efficiently.
- Engage actively in regular team meetings to align tasks with concurrent initiatives and collaboratively manage risks, issues, or conflicts.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing, business management, or related areas.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar marketing or agency environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including social media, display advertising, and SEM.
- Capability to independently make data-driven decisions in critical situations.
- Skilled in prioritizing resource allocation for optimal efficiency and results.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with superior organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends when needed.
- Must work onsite in downtown Vancouver.
