About Datacom

Datacom partners with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to create positive impact and help customers use technology to innovate and expand. The company operates with a people-first culture, combining the energy of a smaller business with the scale of a major technology services provider.

This role is open to Australian Citizens and Residents only. To be considered, you should either live near Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane, or be willing to move. Although the position is national and can be based anywhere in Australia, it is advertised as remote.

About the Role

The Microsoft Licensing Operations Coordinator sits within Datacom’s Microsoft Licensing team and is responsible for the administrative and operational handling of Microsoft licensing programs for enterprise, government, and commercial clients. The role involves supporting licensing orders, renewals, agreements, and associated workflows across EA, EAS, and CSP.

You will work closely with Licensing Consultants, Sales teams, and Microsoft to make sure transactions are completed accurately, compliantly, and within agreed service timelines. This is a structured, detail-focused position for someone who enjoys balancing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy. It also offers broad exposure to Microsoft’s licensing environment and the chance to deepen your experience in licensing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Microsoft licensing orders, renewals, and agreement-related transactions.
  • Support administrative activity across Enterprise Agreements (EA), Enterprise Subscription Agreements (EAS), and CSP services.
  • Keep customer agreements, licensing records, and operational files accurate and up to date.
  • Manage customer onboarding tasks, tenant administration, user access, subscription updates, and Partner Center changes.
  • Coordinate licensing documents, contract amendments, and digital signing workflows.
  • Work with Microsoft and internal teams to resolve licensing and administrative issues.
  • Prepare operational reports and carry out licensing checks and compliance validation.
  • Assist with billing administration, credit requests, invoice adjustments, and reconciliation work.
  • Ensure all licensing activity aligns with Microsoft and Datacom compliance standards.
  • Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, process discipline, and ongoing improvement.
  • Help develop and maintain operational procedures, documentation, and licensing reference materials.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, high-performing team.

Experience and Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Enterprise Agreements (EA/EAS).
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft licensing models and the operational processes behind them.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft licensing administration, order handling, renewals, or licensing operations.
  • Experience using Microsoft Partner Center.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft CSP administration and operations.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage several priorities and deadlines at once.
  • High attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Able to work effectively in a nationally distributed team.

Bonus Experience

  • Previous work with a Microsoft Licensing Solution Provider (LSP), reseller, distributor, or partner organisation.
  • Understanding of Microsoft commercial agreements such as EA, EAS, and CSP.
  • Experience supporting enterprise and government accounts.
  • Exposure to licensing compliance, reporting, billing support, and agreement governance.
