Role overview
The Night Pack Manager will oversee the overnight packing operation, making sure the store is fully stocked, neatly merchandised, and presented to a high standard. This role also involves directing the night pack team and ensuring daily operational standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the night pack team throughout the shift.
- Keep the full store stocked, well merchandised, and faced up consistently.
- Present the store in line with planograms and store presentation standards.
- Work with day management on any layout updates and make sure changes are carried out properly.
- Check night pack activity for accurate labelling and correct stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly back store area, including proper disposal of waste and correct packing of combis.
- Make sure team members are capable of carrying out assigned tasks and receive the training they need.
- Support and adopt new initiatives and improved ways of working.
- Represent and work in line with the company values of being proud, energetic, imaginative, and community-focused.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant should bring supervisory or management experience, strong communication ability, practical delegation skills, a solid work ethic, and an organised approach. A commercial mindset, awareness of the brand, and genuine enthusiasm for grocery retail are also important.
Experience and skills
Two years of experience in a supervisor or manager position is preferred. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word, is also expected.
