About the Role
The OTC Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting middle and back-office functions at NBC Global Finance Limited, ensuring accurate processing, settlement, and recording of financial transactions. The role requires close collaboration with Front Office and internal teams to uphold robust operational controls, effective transaction management, and efficient processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the entire lifecycle of OTC derivative trades.
- Capture and record OTC product trades accurately.
- Support daily collateral management including handling margin calls and monitoring exposure.
- Track and reconcile OTC legal agreements.
- Oversee lifecycle events such as resets, rate fixes, dividends, corporate actions, and maturities.
- Process timely cash and security movements with counterparties.
- Manage, assess, and escalate risks within the scope of responsibilities.
- Investigate operational discrepancies and ensure their resolution within stringent daily deadlines.
- Participate actively in new business lines and trading activities.
- Contribute to process enhancement and automation initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, Financial Services, or related fields.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in financial markets operations, with preference for exposure to OTC derivatives, collateral management, settlement, reconciliations, or trade support; however, relevant training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of OTC derivatives and financial market products.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial market platforms such as Murex, TriResolve, or SWIFT is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage risk, prioritize tasks, and perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for clear and precise information exchange.
- Proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
