Job Overview
Located in Fairfax, Virginia, we are looking for a reliable and organized Part-Time Office Assistant to be present on-site for approximately 15 to 20 hours weekly, spread over four to five days. Working hours are flexible within normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the processing and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Keep case documents meticulously organized, maintained, and filed.
- Manage the inventory and ordering of office supplies.
- Support trial and hearing preparations by copying, assembling, and organizing needed materials.
- Offer general administrative assistance to attorneys and other staff members.
- Complete other tasks as required by office operations.
Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Between one and two years of experience in office or administrative roles, preferably within a law firm, though this is not mandatory.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Capability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and discretion in handling confidential materials.
- Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
Compensation
The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $25 to $28. Individual salary placement will be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, certifications, relevant experience, and market benchmarks.
Additional Information
