Role Overview

The Wellington Hospital and Community team at TBI Health is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join a thriving, collaborative community physiotherapy group. This is a part-time position offering 24 hours weekly, inclusive of Saturday and rostered Sunday shifts, encompassing work in private hospitals and diverse community settings. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct physiotherapy assessments for private clients and those funded by ACC.
  • Deliver patient education, treatment, training, and rehabilitation services across various community environments.
  • Provide physiotherapy and manual handling training for staff within aged care facilities and private hospitals.
  • Offer physiotherapy services to private and ACC patients in private hospital settings such as Boulcott and Southern Cross.
  • Contribute actively to expanding TBI Health's community assessment and rehabilitation offerings in the Wellington area.

Team and Reporting

You will be part of a supportive team comprising vestibular and community physiotherapists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, a team leader, and management. Reporting is to the Wellington Hospital and Community Services Manager. Administration and documentation duties can be performed remotely with flexible arrangements throughout the Wellington region.
