Porter

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Porter to support the efficient operation of Chartwells on a full-time basis, with a contract of 37.5 hours per week. This position is contracted for 41.2 weeks annually. The Porter will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and outstanding customer service, contributing to a positive experience for all visitors.

Work Schedule

The work pattern involves working 5 days out of 7, with shift details to be agreed upon.

Main Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby and other public areas.
• Assist housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams with room setup and moving furniture.
• Perform certain reception tasks, such as booking theatre tickets and making restaurant reservations.
• Respond promptly to customer requests.
• Run various errands as needed.
• Ensure customer safety by placing and removing safety signage, such as wet floor or wet paint warnings.
