Job Overview
The Procurement & Planning Coordinator will manage and facilitate procurement, sourcing, and planning functions for CROWN Emirates Company Limited. The role focuses on ensuring cost-effective and efficient purchasing of materials and services while optimizing inventory and production scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes for raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Negotiate better payment terms, delivery lead times, and supplier conditions.
- Compile weekly reports tracking production plans and incoming materials.
- Develop a monthly Production Operating Plan based on sales forecasts and current inventory data.
- Coordinate the monthly Raw Material Requirement Sheet across all categories.
- Ensure timely and accurate issuance of all Purchase Orders.
- Maintain the Supply Chain Dashboard and track monthly expiry for Operational Raw Materials (ORM).
- Engage consistently with suppliers to guarantee 100% On-Time In-Full (OTIF) deliveries.
- Monitor supplier performance, escalate any delays, and initiate corrective measures.
- Maintain precise records within SAP procurement, inventory, and planning systems.
- Contribute to digital transformation and automation projects.
- Oversee inbound shipments to avoid demurrage and detention charges.
- Track warehouse capacity, ensure FIFO inventory management, and monitor raw material movements.
- Ensure aluminium scrap sales and payment collections are executed promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, planning, or related supply chain roles, preferably within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and production planning methodologies.
- Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP software such as SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within dynamic environments.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
