Procurement Specialist

Job Overview

Reporting directly to management, the Procurement Specialist coordinates the sourcing of goods and services essential for manufacturing, field operations, technology, and project management functions at the plant level. This role adheres to Category Management strategies, ensuring procurement activities comply with internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the purchasing of materials in support of manufacturing, field operations, or project requirements.
• Issue purchase orders aligned with the material needs established by various operational teams.
• Administer local procurement agreements for goods and services outside the scope of Category Management.
• Develop Requests for Quotations (RFQ), manage competitive bidding processes among multiple suppliers to secure optimal quality, delivery timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards and contribute to cost efficiency and operational profitability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field is required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in procurement or production settings.
• Possession of advanced procurement certifications such as Certified Procurement Manager (CPM) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Purchase to Pay (P2P) systems is preferred.
