StandWithUs is a global, nonpartisan Israeli education organization dedicated to inspiring and educating diverse audiences, countering misinformation, and combating antisemitism. It specializes in producing compelling visual content and educational materials to share Israel's narrative worldwide.
Role Summary
We are looking for an entry-level Production Assistant to support video and live event audio-visual production across the United States. Based in Los Angeles, this position collaborates closely with producers and editors from concept development through final delivery, contributing directly to the creation of stories, events, and educational media. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about learning, comfortable working on-set and backstage, and passionate about helping communicate Israel's story through visual media.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with filming and editing videos in formats such as social media clips, documentaries, and live events.
- Set up, operate, and dismantle camera, lighting, and audio gear as required.
- Provide support for on-camera interviews, live productions, and coordinate with audio-visual vendors effectively.
- Manage media assets by organizing files, ensuring proper naming conventions, backing up, and archiving materials.
- Travel within the United States and work occasional evenings, weekends, including entire Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
Candidate Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and a strong desire to learn After Effects and motion graphics.
- Interest and openness to exploring new AI technologies applicable to video production workflows.
- Some practical experience handling cameras, lighting, or audio equipment through education, internships, or personal projects.
- A solid understanding of and enthusiasm for Israeli history and contemporary issues.
- Dependable, organized, detail-conscious, able to follow instructions, and collaborate effectively within teams.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a valid work visa as visa sponsorship is not provided.

Additional Information
