Project Coordinator II

Overview

The Project Coordinator II is responsible for overseeing, organizing, and implementing project plans. This role supports the Project Manager in ensuring efficient and high-quality project outcomes and may take charge of smaller projects when assigned by management. It involves close collaboration with project teams, resource management, and client communications to maintain project profitability and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits at client locations to assess conditions and system design and installation needs.
• Collaborate with the Project Management team to develop and control schedules, resource allocation, procurement, commissioning, and risk mitigation, focusing on cost control and productivity enhancements by applying best practices and standardized procedures.
• Coordinate and handle technical documentation gathering such as shop drawings and as-built records, and organize closeout documentation packages.
• Manage all project-related communications, both written and verbal, efficiently.
• Address and resolve client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in site inspections and client walkthroughs.
• Guarantee delivery of the highest quality services to clients.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License is mandatory.
• One to three years of prior experience in project coordination or project management.
• Proven ability to collect and manage technical project documentation.
• Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
• Good computer literacy including Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Capable of working independently, managing time effectively, and handling multiple deadlines.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Post-secondary education in engineering technology fields like controls and instrumentation, electronics, or electrical engineering is advantageous.
• Experience in the construction or security sectors is beneficial.
• Familiarity with D365 software is a plus.

Compensation and Employment Details

The position offers a salary range between $70,000 and $85,000 annually, depending on experience. This job vacancy is current and active.

• Must communicate effectively through seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly with colleagues and clients.
• Requires manual ability for occasional reaching, light lifting of office items, and operation of office equipment.
