Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Project Engineer to join their Project Management team under the Operational Excellence Department. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective planning, execution, and delivery of customer-focused projects as well as capital operational projects within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct assigned projects or specific workstreams from the moment a purchase order is received until project completion, including planning schedules, executing tasks, monitoring progress, and compiling reports.
• Organize and lead project kick-off meetings to align activities and information across internal teams such as Technical, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial departments.
• Track project timelines and deliverables to guarantee punctual advancement aligned with contractual obligations and operational strategies.
• Examine and interpret engineering documents, drawings, and specifications to confirm all project elements satisfy customer expectations and standards.
• Coordinate procurement processes, monitor material status, and ensure delivery schedules are met.
• Identify and control any changes in project scope, manage variation orders, and handle contractual modifications.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any technical or project-related challenges.
• Facilitate progress review meetings keeping detailed records of project status, potential risks, and required actions.
• Provide consistent and transparent updates and reporting to both company stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with finance-related functions to monitor project costs and manage invoicing.
• Address customer feedback and complaints promptly by coordinating corrective measures.
• Assist in compiling lessons learned and formal closure documentation upon project completion.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline is mandatory.
• At least four years of experience in a Project Engineer role within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proficient understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and project-related documents.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, alongside other project management software tools.
• Capable in project scheduling, budget tracking, and managing risks associated with projects.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
