Job Overview
We are seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our team in Nashik, Maharashtra. The role involves ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, managing pharmaceutical inventory, and providing excellent service and support to patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify prescriptions carefully to ensure appropriateness and patient safety.
- Dispense medicines strictly according to prescriptions.
- Process billing for medicines dispensed and handle cash collection.
- Verify expiry dates and batch numbers against billing records.
- Communicate with prescribing physicians when clarification about prescriptions is needed.
- Manage and track inventory of dispensed medicines.
- Maintain thorough records of patient medical history and transactions, especially concerning controlled substances.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues, including escalating complaints to the appropriate department if required.
- Record all pharmacy transactions accurately and ensure registers are up to date.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Protect patient privacy and confidentiality regarding medical information.
Eligibility
Open to applicants qualified as Registered Pharmacists capable of fulfilling the responsibilities associated with this position.
Additional Information
The monthly compensation range for this role is between 10,000 and 23,000 Indian Rupees.
