Job Overview
The Remote File Clerk is responsible for overseeing digital document management to maintain organized, secure, and easily accessible company records. This role enhances operational workflows and supports the broader administrative team.
Key Duties
- Maintain and organize digital company files using document management systems.
- Ensure timely and correct labeling and categorization of electronic documents.
- Retrieve and distribute files as requested by team members.
- Follow company policies concerning confidentiality, data security, and record retention.
- Conduct regular checks to guarantee filing system accuracy and completeness.
- Support archiving of outdated files and manage document lifecycle per guidelines.
- Provide additional general administrative support when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in positions like File Clerk, Data Entry Clerk, or Administrative Assistant.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and knowledgeable of digital filing platforms such as SharePoint or Google Drive.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Capability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism and discretion in managing sensitive information.
- Minimum education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation and Additional Information
- Offered hourly wage between 30 and 35 USD.
