Rendering Specialist - Interior Design

About the Role

RH Interior Design is searching for a Rendering Specialist to translate design concepts into compelling, photorealistic visualizations that enhance client engagement and support crucial phases in the design process. This position acts as both a creative and technical ally to the Interior Design team, ensuring each presentation is meticulously crafted to uphold RH’s standards of precision, artistry, and brand excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop premium, brand-consistent 3D renderings derived from 2D floor plans to enrich design storytelling and presentations.
• Apply and adjust materials, textures, and finishes to achieve highly realistic visual representations.
• Implement lighting schemes that balance natural and ambient light, adding depth and atmosphere to visuals.
• Create strategically composed camera angles that accentuate principal design features.
• Manage the end-to-end rendering cycle, from collecting inputs to coordinating reviews with Designers and tracking progress logs.
• Maintain and expand RH’s 3D assets including product libraries, material swatches, and textures to enhance uniformity and workflow efficiency.
• Supervise workflow priorities and schedules to ensure on-time, quality delivery of renderings.
• Integrate artificial intelligence tools and other emerging tech to improve processes and output quality.
• Demonstrate continuous learning and maintain awareness of the latest industry advancements, showing dedication to craftsmanship.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in 3D visualization within architecture, interior design, or related fields.
• Preferred formal education in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Proficient with Autodesk 3ds Max and Corona rendering engine.
• Experience with SketchUp and V-Ray software.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, emphasizing Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and familiarity with Mac operating systems, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality, consistency, and protecting brand standards.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently within fast-paced, design-orientated teams.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple rendering tasks and deadlines.
• Possesses a growth-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for innovation and craftsmanship mastery.

Physical and Additional Requirements

• Extended sitting and computer-based work periods.
• Visual acuity to evaluate fine detail, color precision, and spatial arrangements.
• Travel flexibility, including domestic and international trips as required.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license preferred.
