About the Role
Bloomfields Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a proactive and goal-oriented Sales Engineer to bolster its Facilities Management division. This role requires a candidate with a robust engineering foundation paired with adeptness in business development and client relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and cultivate new business prospects within the Facilities Management arena.
- Forge and nurture links with developers, consultants, contractors, property owners, and corporate clientele.
- Promote a spectrum of FM offerings including annual maintenance contracts (AMC), MEP maintenance, technical solutions, and engineering services.
- Oversee the entire sales pipeline starting from lead sourcing, engaging clients, presenting proposals, negotiating terms, to securing contracts.
- Conduct on-site evaluations, deliver client presentations, and participate in technical discussions to accurately capture customer needs.
- Draft detailed technical and financial proposals, submit quotations, and prepare tenders.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and operations departments to tailor competitive and customized service solutions.
- Consistently manage an active sales funnel and meet predefined revenue goals.
- Keep abreast of market developments, rival activities, and prospective projects throughout the UAE.
- Identify opportunities for contract renewals, upselling, and fostering sustained client partnerships.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineering specific to Facilities Management.
- Exposure to engineering firms, MEP contractors, technical manufacturers, fire and life safety companies, fit-out contractors, or FM service providers.
- Established professional network among developers, consultants, contractors, property management firms, and commercial clients within the UAE.
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, presentations, and maintaining client relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FM services, preventive maintenance methods, MEP systems, and drafting technical proposals.
- Possession of a UAE driving license is favorable.
