Security Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. This role primarily supports and secures the Microsoft Office 365 environment with a key focus on Intune, BitLocker, Microsoft Purview, and endpoint protection. The position involves managing security policies, supporting a variety of device platforms, and ensuring robust endpoint security protocols.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer and safeguard Office 365 applications, concentrating on Intune device management, BitLocker encryption, Microsoft Purview security compliance, and endpoint security controls.
• Establish and maintain security policies for end-user devices and integrate them with Office 365 security tools to protect organizational data.
• Handle enrollment and ongoing management of multiple device operating systems including Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android platforms.
• Deploy Win32 applications, line-of-business, and Microsoft Store apps through Microsoft Intune to streamline software distribution.
• Configure and oversee Windows Update for Business and leverage Microsoft 365 security features to keep systems current and protected.
• Develop and administer Sensitivity Labels, train classification models, manage Exact Data Match (EDM) capabilities, and identify Sensitive Information Types in Microsoft Purview for data governance.
• Implement and monitor endpoint security policies, manage software patching, and coordinate vulnerability mitigation.
• Deliver technical support to users, create comprehensive documentation, and provide knowledge transfer sessions to FDLE personnel for sustained operational effectiveness.
