Senior Salesforce Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Functional Consultant to join our new Salesforce Capability practice at Aidas Technologies India Pvt Ltd in Coimbatore. As a key member of this initiative, you will collaborate directly with the Salesforce Capability Lead to set delivery standards, define governance protocols, and develop scalable Salesforce solutions from the ground up. This role requires balancing high-level business analysis with practical platform configuration expertise, managing stakeholders effectively, and leveraging advanced Salesforce technologies such as Data Cloud and Agentforce AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead detailed discovery workshops to analyze business processes, identify bottlenecks, and translate them into comprehensive business requirements and user stories.
• Design scalable relational data models including object relationships, custom metadata, and robust security/sharing frameworks in line with Salesforce enterprise best practices.
• Advise business stakeholders on using standard out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality prioritizing declarative solutions ("Clicks over Code") before custom development.
• Identify and scope valuable use cases involving emerging Salesforce technologies, particularly Data Cloud and autonomous Agentforce AI workflows.
• Architect and develop maintainable and scalable automations using Salesforce Flow Builder, incorporating best practices such as structured error handling and modular flow design.
• Manage core Salesforce environment setups including custom objects, Lightning pages, dynamic forms, validation rules, and permission sets across Sales, Service, Revenue Lifecycle Management, or Industry Vertical Clouds.
• Plan and execute complex data migration, cleansing, and loading from legacy systems employing data management tools like Data Loader.
• Create reusable documentation templates, blueprints, and discovery questionnaires to streamline project delivery.
• Support the establishment of a robust application lifecycle management (ALM) framework, including sandbox management and source-driven deployment with Salesforce DX or DevOps Center.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce functional consultant, business analyst, or configuration specialist within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Flow Builder with understanding of advanced flow design patterns to build scalable automation solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities including data ingestion, harmonization, and identity resolution, plus familiarity with Agentforce and Einstein AI features.
• Proficiency with data migration tools such as Data Loader and DemandTools, alongside Agile project management tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.

Certifications

• Mandatory: Salesforce Certified Administrator and Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Business Analyst certifications.
• Highly preferred: Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant.
• Additional beneficial certifications: Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant.
