About the Role
Join the Apple Store Online team, home to Apple's largest digital storefront, where the mission is to offer an exceptional, personalized shopping experience to customers worldwide. As an SEO Analyst, you will be instrumental in uncovering how millions discover Apple via leading traditional and AI-enhanced search platforms. Your role will encompass measuring, reporting, and analyzing SEO data to generate insightful strategies that drive organic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously track and analyze SEO performance within assigned product domains to identify growth opportunities and detect anomalies.
- Execute detailed keyword research and analyze search trends, user behaviors, and search engine result page (SERP) features to inform SEO tactics.
- Produce competitive analysis to extract actionable SEO insights.
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot SEO dashboards and tracking systems to ensure precise data integrity.
- Prepare regular SEO performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and present insights as actionable recommendations for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Assist with content and technical audits by providing SEO data analysis, conduct post-launch evaluations, and share SEO knowledge among team members.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of direct SEO experience emphasizing analytical tasks and performance measurement, ideally with a global brand or within a digital agency environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage SEO measurement, reporting, and use search data effectively to formulate recommendations.
- Experienced in conducting keyword research and competitive analysis impacting content or technical SEO decisions.
- Proficient user of SEO tools including Google Search Console, Profound, seoClarity, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in technology or e-commerce sectors.
- Competence with data visualization platforms such as Tableau.
- Skills in programming or data handling languages like Python, R, or SQL to automate and enhance data analysis.
- Experience evaluating SEO performance across AI-driven search environments (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).
- Experience managing SEO for global brands operating across multiple countries and languages.
