Role Overview
The Service Advisor plays a key role in assisting clients to comprehend maintenance or repair options for their vehicles, addressing their questions and guiding them before they meet the technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic checks to identify underlying issues, determine necessary repairs, and parts replacements.
- Discuss diagnosis findings and repair plans with customers, ensuring they fully understand the services required, utilizing an appropriate diagnostic checklist.
- Inform customers in detail about the essential maintenance and repair services needed for their vehicles.
- Promote additional services to customers to encourage upselling opportunities.
- Welcome and engage with customers, accurately assess their needs, and arrange service appointments accordingly.
- Collaborate directly with customers to gather their requirements and convey accurate information to Service Technicians for optimal service delivery.
- Respond to inquiries related to service results, appointment schedules, vehicle drop-off, and pickup processes.
- Manage customer concerns, complaints, and questions professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain communication by following up on estimate approvals, service progress, and completed repairs.
