Site Engineer

Job Description

• Manage the execution and supervision of projects involving Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, SMATV, and Intercom systems.
• Ensure that all work aligns with approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Monitor daily activities on-site, offering technical guidance to technicians and subcontractors.
• Coordinate efforts between civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to prevent site conflicts.
• Participate in site progress meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Communicate necessary material and manpower requirements to project management.
• Prepare and keep up-to-date daily progress reports, site logs, and red-line drawings.
• Support the creation of method statements, risk assessments, and test reports.
• Conduct inspections alongside consultants to ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards.
• Execute functional testing, troubleshoot issues, and assist with system integration during commissioning.
• Implement and uphold site safety policies ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promptly report hazards, incidents, and near misses to maintain a safe work environment.
• Validate incoming material deliveries against approved Material Approval Requests (MARs).
• Efficiently manage tools, equipment, and materials on the construction site.
