Role Overview

We seek a skilled Stakeholder Manager to spearhead all facets of stakeholder engagement, communication, relationship cultivation, and alignment across the company. The ideal candidate will identify and prioritize key stakeholders, formulate engagement strategies, manage expectations, navigate conflicts, and ensure smooth communication among leadership, project teams, clients, partners, regulators, communities, and others involved. This position suits individuals versed in stakeholder management, public affairs, strategic communications, project oversight, government relations, community involvement, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement stakeholder engagement plans congruent with organizational/project milestones
  • Identify, chart, classify, and prioritize stakeholders both inside and outside the company
  • Develop communication blueprints, engagement models, and relationship tactics tailored for stakeholders
  • Establish and nurture connections with executives, customers, partners, suppliers, regulatory bodies, government entities, communities, and additional relevant actors
  • Lead stakeholder interactions including meetings, consultations, workshops, and forums
  • Track stakeholder attitudes, expectations, influence levels, and potential conflicts
  • Mediate information exchange between leadership, project squads, operations, and external parties
  • Pinpoint stakeholder risks and implement mitigation, escalation, and response approaches
  • Support major organizational initiatives, changes, expansions, and projects through dynamic stakeholder engagement
  • Address stakeholder issues, complaints, conflicts, and escalations with structured resolution frameworks
  • Compile comprehensive stakeholder reports, dashboards tracking engagement, relationship analyses, and executive summaries
  • Collaborate across departments including corporate communications, legal, government relations, project management, HR, commercial, and business development
  • Assist in public consultations, regulatory communications, community engagement, and external affairs when necessary
  • Develop and enforce governance standards, processes, and continuous improvement practices related to stakeholder management

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in areas such as Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, International Relations, Political Science, Project Management, Public Administration, or allied disciplines
  • Between 7 to 12+ years of professional experience in stakeholder management, corporate communications, public affairs, government relations, community engagement, project management, or strategic relationship roles
  • Demonstrated success handling intricate stakeholder frameworks involving senior leadership and external entities
  • Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, facilitation, presentations, and relationship building
  • Proficient at conflict resolution, influence, diplomacy, and problem-solving
  • Experienced in collaborating across varied departments and diverse stakeholder bases
  • Strong proficiency with stakeholder mapping, engagement planning, and governance methods
  • Ability to operate independently while working fully remotely

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MBA or relevant field such as Communications, Public Relations, International Relations, Public Administration, Project Management)
  • Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, IAP2, Prosci, CCMP, or equivalents
  • Background in infrastructure, construction, energy, utilities, telecommunications, government, finance, real estate, technology, or transformative programs
  • Expertise in government relations, regulatory and community engagement, public affairs, ESG stakeholder relations, organizational change, and crisis communication
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms for stakeholder/project management
  • Experience handling regional or international stakeholder initiatives
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills highly desirable
