Role Overview
The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the everyday operations associated with inventory handling, order processing, shipment tracking, and vendor management throughout the supply chain. This position ensures smooth and efficient workflows, transparency of inventory status, and timely customer deliveries by collaborating closely across multiple departments and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate day-to-day supply chain functions and oversee inventory flow through various operational phases.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Manage order progression from inventory receipt to fulfillment for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Track order statuses including shipments, timelines, and provide accurate status updates.
- Partner with teams such as Fulfillment, Quality Control, Inventory, Logistics, and Customer Service to align operations.
- Identify operational challenges, communicate issues, and assist in troubleshooting delays, discrepancies, or system problems.
- Support onboarding of vendors, uphold compliance standards, and manage account communications.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments ensuring documentation accuracy and shipment visibility.
- Contribute to preparing operational reports, tracking KPIs, and conducting data analysis.
- Facilitate coordination between internal divisions and external partners to meet delivery objectives.
- Drive initiatives for process enhancements, optimize workflows, and assist in policy development.
- Continuously monitor operational effectiveness and proactively alert stakeholders to risks affecting orders or supply chain processes.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting tasks as required.

- Understanding of inventory management, logistics coordination, and general supply chain procedures.
- Adaptability to evolving business demands and operational changes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Between 1 and 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operational roles.
- Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
- Competence with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel at a basic to intermediate level.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and logistics processes.
- Experience engaging with vendors and managing procurement and shipping procedures.
- Ability to perform well under deadlines and maintain composure in pressured environments.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage for this role ranges from $25 to $27, dependent on experience and qualifications.
