About the Role
Centurion is looking to recruit an experienced System Administrator specializing in Dayforce to join our busy People and Capability team. While the primary workplace will be our Perth Airport location, applicants from anywhere in Australia with relevant experience will be considered.
Position Overview
This newly established role involves overseeing the administration and frontline support for Dayforce systems, focusing on implementation, optimization, and management across the whole organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Dayforce modules by configuring system settings, workflows, and business logic.
- Manage user accounts, role-based security, and access rights throughout the business.
- Conduct regular data audits, validate information, and develop custom queries and reports to ensure data integrity.
- Lead system testing activities related to updates, legislative compliance changes, and new feature rollout.
- Serve as an escalation point to resolve system errors, assist users with operational queries, and liaise directly with Dayforce Support.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience in consulting for and configuring Dayforce workforce management systems, including project execution and ongoing support.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex industrial agreements accurately.
- Experience with configuration and support of pay rules, entitlements, schedules, accruals, allowances, overtime, and penalty calculations.
- Strong grasp of workforce and payroll prerequisites and capability to translate these into functional system results.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to meet operational and project targets.
