Technical Product Manager

Role overview

We are recruiting for a Saudi startup that has secured $3,000,000 in funding and is now hiring a Technical Product Manager in Riyadh. This is a rare opportunity to join as the company’s first product hire and work directly with the founders on a platform that is reshaping workforce accommodation and operations across Saudi Arabia while aiming to improve quality of life for thousands in the Kingdom.

What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of the product roadmap, from early discovery through launch and ongoing improvement.
• Partner directly with the founders to set priorities, shape requirements, and convert plans into execution.
• Turn customer, operational, and commercial problems into structured product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Serve as the main link between business teams and engineering.
• Run backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery coordination.
• Work day-to-day with Engineering, Design, and Operations to keep execution on track.
• Lead product discovery using customer conversations, market analysis, data review, and feedback cycles.
• Track product performance, adoption patterns, and business KPIs, then use those insights to drive improvements.
• Help establish scalable product processes as the company expands.
• Contribute to product direction while staying deeply involved in execution.
• Directly manage two engineers.

What we are looking for

• At least 4 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Product Ownership.
• A strong technical foundation, ideally supported by a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Hands-on experience working with or leading software engineering teams and technical partners.
• Proven ability to own products from discovery through launch and post-launch improvement.
• Capability to produce clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior startup experience.

Additional details

• Compensation is SAR 20,000 to SAR 30,000 per month, plus equity/ESOPs.
• This is a founding product role with direct access to the founders and a high level of ownership.
• The role requires working from the Riyadh office 4 to 5 days per week.
• The hiring process consists of two interview stages, and the company is looking to move quickly.
