About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will take the lead on complex, cross-disciplinary projects from conception through completion, leveraging your technical knowledge. You will work with diverse stakeholders to plan project requirements, assess risks, manage timelines, and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams company-wide, from executives to engineers. This role focuses on building inclusive products that offer opportunities globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physical asset groups such as data center and network teams alongside engineering units to assess, evaluate, and recommend effective infrastructure solutions aligned with technical factors, market dynamics, and company goals.
- Work closely with internal cloud engineering, network, security, financial, and legal departments, as well as external data center planners, network strategists, and utility providers to implement thorough infrastructure plans.
- Analyze worldwide cloud market developments including hyperscale expansion, hybrid and multi-cloud trends, and specific cloud service demands to guide strategic infrastructure choices.
- Convert intricate technical infrastructure requirements—covering power density, cooling, connectivity, latency, security, and compliance—into practical specifications used in data center and network planning.
- Innovate and develop new products as needed to fulfill upcoming infrastructure demands for Cloud and AI growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 5 years managing technical projects within a dynamic industry environment.
- Experience in data center or network infrastructure planning, evaluation, negotiation, including launching operations in new regions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with data centers, network infrastructure, cloud computing, or technical infrastructure domains.
- Proven ability to collaborate with executive leadership, possessing strong communication, discussion, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and cost optimization approaches specific to infrastructure areas like data centers and networks.
- In-depth understanding of hyperscale cloud architectures, networking technologies, power management, and cooling systems.
Additional Information
Applicants will be given the chance to express their preferred working location between London, UK and Dublin, Ireland.

Compensation in Ireland ranges from €118,000 to €121,000 annually, plus a 15% target bonus, equity, and benefits, with pay determined by skills, experience, and educational background.
