Test Program Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a Test Program Manager to lead test service delivery across GIPS initiatives in a major banking environment. This role is based in Singapore and involves coordinating testing activities with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective coverage and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily test service delivery management performed by bank-appointed vendors for various projects.
• Collaborate with testing providers and stakeholders to review, provide input on, and approve test strategies, plans, and associated deliverables.
• Champion automation efforts using contemporary frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance testing efficiency and comprehensiveness.
• Conduct API, microservices, and integration testing across dispersed enterprise systems to ensure seamless interoperability.
• Work closely with architecture and engineering divisions to facilitate DevOps, CI/CD, and early-stage (shift-left) testing processes.
• Lead AI/Generative AI-driven testing projects, including intelligent automation, predictive defect analytics, and optimization of testing activities.
• Manage validation and certification for operating system patches, database updates, middleware upgrades, security patch rollout, and infrastructure renewal initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant test delivery experience in complex, large organizations, preferably within Private Banking.
• Extensive leadership experience in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration, and regression testing within extensive enterprise setups.
• Hands-on proficiency with API, microservices, and integration testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI or equivalents.
• Solid programming knowledge in Java, Python, REST API development, and enterprise application architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools and DevOps platforms including Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
• Strong background in test automation frameworks and intelligent automation technologies.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and hybrid project methodologies.
• Demonstrated analytical acumen, problem-solving capability, excellent communications, leadership, and a strong sense of ownership and delivery excellence.

• Expertise in Test Automation and CI/CD processes.
• Skilled in API and Microservices Testing techniques.
• Experience in Release and Environment Management.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure and Platform upgrade testing.
• Working knowledge of Java and Python programming languages.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, JIRA, and Postman tools.
• Involvement in AI, Large Language Model (LLM) based testing and intelligent automation approaches.
