Job Overview

We are currently looking for a skilled and imaginative Video Editor to join our New York-based team on a full-time basis. This role involves creating captivating video content that highlights the precision and artistry behind our bespoke marine projects. The successful candidate will significantly influence the visual storytelling of our brand and engage our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform original video footage into refined, high-standard videos tailored for our official website, social media channels, and promotional efforts.
• Work closely with the marketing department to grasp project objectives, craft innovative concepts, and ensure produced content aligns with our brand identity.
• Oversee the entire post-production process, including color grading, audio mixing, and integrating graphics, titles, and visual effects.
• Maintain and organize a detailed digital archive of video resources for ongoing and future use.
• Guarantee that all video materials comply with brand guidelines and consistently convey a polished, sophisticated, and luxurious image.
• Keep abreast of the newest techniques, software developments, and trends in video editing to continually refresh our visual content.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Video Editor with a robust portfolio showing strong storytelling and editing capabilities.
• Proficient use of leading video editing programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation applications, including Adobe After Effects, is a significant advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially in composition and color correction.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communicator with the capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Interest or background in the marine, luxury goods, or related industries is a plus.

Compensation

The annual salary range offered for this position is $25,000 to $75,000 USD, determined according to experience.
