Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance on critical aspects of ERC’s development, including budgeting, forecasting, managing cash flows, and daily financial operations.
Assist in regular financial planning and analysis to provide clarity on company performance and resource allocation.
Manage key operational finance activities such as invoice tracking, month-end closing preparations, data verification, documentation, and finance process coordination.
Lead finance and strategy projects from start to finish by defining problems, conducting analyses, formulating recommendations, and presenting findings.
Contribute to impactful ad-hoc assignments such as grant applications, partnership economics evaluations, contract assessments, business cases, and investor analyses.
Enhance and automate financial workflows with an emphasis on scalable processes, improved data integrity, and AI-driven methods.
Collaborate across departments at ERC to link financial information, operational workflows, and strategic decisions.

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Relevant prior experience gained through internships or positions in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or finance teams within high-growth startups.
Excellent analytical capabilities and structured approach to solving complex problems involving numerical data.
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear analyses, narratives, and presentations.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience in financial modeling, reporting, or workflow automation is advantageous.
Keen interest in AI technologies, process automation, and digital workflow solutions within finance and operations contexts.
A collaborative, humble team player eager to engage hands-on with operational finance while remaining connected to strategic decision processes.
Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a significant advantage.
