Overview
First Gulf Company is looking for a practical, on-the-floor Warehouse Manager to oversee the Central Warehouse that supports the System Integration Division and connected business activities. This position focuses on running day-to-day warehouse functions, improving inventory reliability, ensuring ERP discipline, streamlining warehouse processes, optimizing storage, tracking performance metrics, and preparing the operation for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS).
Warehouse Operations
- Direct and enhance the daily flow of warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, picking, material issuing, transfers, and dispatching.
- Improve the use of warehouse space through better layout and storage planning.
- Maintain a workplace that is orderly, safe, and operationally efficient.
Inventory and ERP Control
- Keep inventory records accurate inside Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Make sure every warehouse transaction is completed through the ERP platform.
- Oversee bin structures, warehouse locations, and stock accuracy.
- Remove dependence on manual stock logs and spreadsheet-based tracking.
Process Improvement and Digital Transformation
- Apply and enforce the approved Warehouse Policies, Procedures and Manual (PPM).
- Lead initiatives that improve warehouse workflow and raise operational efficiency.
- Support the move toward Microsoft Dynamics 365 Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS), including process mapping, barcode rollout, testing, and end-user training.
Inventory Optimization and Performance
- Set up and manage cycle counting and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Track stock ageing as well as slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete items.
- Build and monitor warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, GRN turnaround, material issue performance, picking accuracy, productivity, and space usage.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Guide, coach, and develop the warehouse team.
- Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Projects, Finance, and ERP teams to keep material movement efficient and system usage compliant.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required. The role calls for 8 to 10 years of warehouse experience, with at least 3 years in a Warehouse Manager or comparable leadership position. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another ERP platform is essential. Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP process improvement is strongly preferred. Experience in System Integration, ICT, Electronics, Networking, ELV, AV, or Technology Distribution environments is also highly preferred.
