This position supports the housekeeping operation by tracking room status, coordinating daily cleaning priorities, and helping ensure guest rooms are prepared on time. The role also serves as a communication point between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry to keep room-related tasks moving smoothly.

Key duties

  • Prepare room availability reports, check room conditions, identify any differences in status, and keep records updated for departing guests.
  • Help the Housekeeping department manage daily operational activities.
  • Act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Desk, and Laundry teams.
  • Record and resolve room-status discrepancies with the Front Desk.
  • Prepare and circulate assignment sheets or work boards for housekeeping staff.
  • Track, verify, and update the “Do Not Disturb” room list.
  • Make sure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned on time and assign priority to urgent rooms and rooms previously marked “Do Not Disturb.”
  • Complete required housekeeping paperwork and related documentation.
