IT Support Technician

Role Summary

Techcom Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to end users. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various computer systems, mobile devices, applications, and network security protocols. This role involves handling installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination for IT purchases and setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support as Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or IT Help Desk Technician.
• Manage installation, configuration, and repair of computer and mobile devices.
• Maintain knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and deployment activities.
• Communicate effectively to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors as required.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in technical support roles such as Technical Support Engineer or Desktop Support Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and related software.
• Familiarity with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting processes.
• Understanding of network system security.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
