Role Summary
Techcom Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to end users. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various computer systems, mobile devices, applications, and network security protocols. This role involves handling installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination for IT purchases and setups.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support as Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or IT Help Desk Technician.
- Manage installation, configuration, and repair of computer and mobile devices.
- Maintain knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and deployment activities.
- Communicate effectively to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors as required.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in technical support roles such as Technical Support Engineer or Desktop Support Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and related software.
- Familiarity with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting processes.
- Understanding of network system security.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
