Assistant Manager - Sales

Role Overview

This position entails comprehensive management of marketplace sales operations within adidas, focusing on business planning, inventory oversight, marketplace launches, brand store management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously track sales figures, inventory levels, and essential commercial performance indicators to ensure alignment with business targets and implement corrective measures when necessary.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to execute marketplace strategies effectively.
• Monitor product returns closely and initiate remedial actions to mitigate issues.
• Collaborate with merchandising and supply chain teams to optimize inventory distribution across various marketplaces, maintaining healthy stock levels and identifying the need for replenishment.
• Detect and address potential stock shortages or excesses promptly through proactive interventions.
• Lead the comprehensive rollout of new seasonal product launches across marketplaces, coordinating with the catalog team to ensure inventory readiness and tracking launch performance to meet full-price sell-through goals.
• Manage periodic updates of marketplace brand stores to align with seasonal marketing campaigns, including modifications to banners, navigation menus, collections, landing pages, and featured product assortments.
• Ensure brand stores comply with both global and local brand guidelines, maintaining high operational standards.
• Promote enhanced content (A+ content) across principal product franchises to improve customer experience.
• Oversee seller performance metrics on platforms such as Myntra and Flipkart, driving excellence in execution.
• Coordinate with merchandising and trading teams on pricing strategies and catalog uploads to maintain product accuracy and availability.
• Support preparations for large-scale commercial events by ensuring marketplace campaign readiness.
