About the Role

Emerald Locums is searching for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join a busy acute hospital cardiology department located in Galway. This role offers a unique chance to engage with a comprehensive range of cardiac diagnostic and interventional services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct various non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures.
Provide assistance during invasive cardiac interventions within the department.
Support operations within the cardiac catheterisation laboratory.
Maintain thorough and precise clinical records and reporting.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care based on best practice standards.
Contribute to the on-call roster as needed.

Candidate Requirements

Must be registered with the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP).
Previous professional experience in a cardiology department is essential.
Experience in cardiac catheterisation laboratory services is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to operate independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Authorization to work in Ireland is mandatory.
