Retail Operations Associate (Project)

Role Overview

This role supports the SAP S/4HANA implementation project and retail operations, requiring a hands-on approach to ensure smooth alignment between project deliverables and on-ground retail processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with SAP S/4HANA project tasks by validating data, monitoring issues, and following up on action points.
• Maintain communication with Operations, IT, Finance, and vendors to ensure timely resolution of project-related activities.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to relevant teams as necessary.
• Conduct on-site visits to retail stores frequently to gain detailed understanding of store operations such as sales flow, inventory movement, receiving procedures, returns, and reporting mechanisms.
• Collect practical insights directly from store teams to support system design, testing efforts, and process harmonization.
• Promote change adoption by clarifying system and process updates to store personnel.
• Verify that SAP system processes are effective in real operational settings beyond theoretical planning.
• Create well-organized presentations, trackers, and summaries to provide updates for project management and operations reviews.
• Confidently communicate findings, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Serve as an intermediary between store operations and project teams to facilitate smooth collaboration.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of operations processes; experience with store operations is advantageous.
• Excellent follow-up abilities to diligently track and close action items.
• Strong verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and foundational reporting capabilities.
