Job Overview
Aarorn Technologies Inc is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst based in Toronto, Ontario. This contract role requires being onsite four days a week and offers a pay rate of CAD 50 per hour.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional user support to a diverse range of RBC employees by resolving issues promptly and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Utilize excellent organizational and communication skills to track ongoing problems and coordinate among multiple technical and business teams.
- Conduct health checks, monitoring, alerts, and take necessary actions on system status.
- Lead investigations on application operational failures, drive problem resolution, and follow up to identify root causes.
- Analyze system dashboards and logs using tools such as Dynatrace and ELK to detect potential risks, conflicts, or issues.
- Maintain and produce high-quality support documentation and processes.
- Write basic SQL queries to access databases and prepare reports.
- Build effective working relationships with various IT partners and platforms to influence key business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Pega platform and Pega-based applications.
- Familiarity with AI-driven application support solutions.
- Knowledge of architecture and process workflow analysis and design.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce consistently high-quality work while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic troubleshooting skills in SQL, Unix, and job scheduling.
- Experience using monitoring tools like ELK stack, Dynatrace, and PagerDuty, including dashboard creation.
- Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call support schedule.
