Role Overview
Transecur Telematics Private Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and generate financial reports. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, reconciliations, and ERP/Tally systems.
Key Duties
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Manage billing and invoicing activities
- Prepare, submit, and reconcile GST returns
- Ensure TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances are adhered to
- Perform bank reconciliations and financial statement preparations
- Create MIS reports and contribute to budgeting efforts
- Handle vendor account management and payment reconciliations
- Liaise with internal and external auditors for audits
- Maintain precise accounting records utilizing ERP or Tally software
- Generate reports utilizing advanced functionalities in MS Excel
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting roles
- Sound understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and compliance regulations
- Proficient in managing multiple invoices, bills, and reconciliations
- Expertise in Tally or ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
- Educational background: B.Com, M.Com, or an MBA in Finance
