About the Role

Join a leading global marketing and advertising network as a bilingual proofreader supporting a long-term consumer goods account, primarily focusing on a prominent food brand. This position involves a 6-month contract working 20 hours per week from a remote setting, offering steady work with potential for extension or growth based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

As the final quality checkpoint before content distribution, you will meticulously review materials in both English and French to eliminate typos, inconsistencies, and minor errors that could damage brand reputation. This role is dedicated strictly to proofreading to ensure accuracy without rewriting the copy.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in proofreading, preferably related to consumer goods, retail, or food and beverage sectors.
• Full professional proficiency in proofreading both English and French languages.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot subtle errors others often overlook.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and the ability to operate on either Mac or PC platforms.
• Capable of working independently, adhering to deadlines, and efficiently managing a 20-hour workweek.

Compensation and Reporting
