Role Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead and oversee all inbound and outbound freight operations, ensuring shipments are delivered punctually and adhere to budgetary constraints. This role involves managing a small team with emphasis on coaching, mentoring, and guiding members to achieve defined objectives. An integral part of this position is to maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, guaranteeing their alignment with business demands. Additionally, you will spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement in logistics processes and systems, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across operations.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years experience leading and developing a logistics team.
• Strong leadership qualities and team management skills.
• Familiarity with global freight logistics and challenges within the international freight landscape.
• Proven success in meeting Delivery In Full On Time (DIFOT) targets.
• Established track record of implementing process and system enhancements to reduce freight expenses.
• Experience in handling complex shipping routes, compliance, and customs regulations.
• Expertise in managing and negotiating with freight forwarders to secure competitive rates and terms.
