About SUMM AI
SUMM AI GmbH, founded in 2022 in Munich by Flora Geske, Vanessa Theel, and Nicholas Wolf, is a growing GovTech startup that aims to apply artificial intelligence for societal benefit, particularly within the public sector. From initial projects focused on simplifying language, the company has expanded to develop two impactful products: SUMM AI for accessible communication and AuraFlows for transparent process documentation.
Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated full-stack developer who will take ownership of end-to-end feature development, including modern user interfaces and backend logic. You'll contribute to process improvements and lead the automation and optimization of our development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently develop full features, covering frontend and backend components.
- Proactively suggest and implement improvements to existing processes.
- Enhance and automate development operations to increase efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience in full-stack development.
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code with thorough documentation.
- Proficiency with technologies such as Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI), JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React), SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and Docker.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud infrastructure services is advantageous.
- Strong interest in public sector challenges and a drive to create meaningful impact.
- Contribution to open-source projects or involvement in the developer community is a plus.
