Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead for Asset Management to oversee and optimize the financial and operational performance of hospitality assets. This role involves strategic planning, vendor and contract management, design coordination, and reporting to ensure high standards of operation and maximize asset value.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee asset management and operational activities to monitor and improve financial outcomes across hospitality properties.
- Drive operational efficiencies while maintaining brand standards and enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with hotel operators to track and analyze key performance indicators such as occupancy, revenue per available room, EBITDA, and guest satisfaction scores.
- Support senior leadership in formulating strategies that align with the group’s vision, focusing on revenue growth, cost savings, and asset enhancement.
- Work closely with internal teams and operators to roll out initiatives that create value.
- Handle procurement activities for specialized equipment and services, including vendor negotiations and contract management, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Coordinate with design teams on renovations and new projects to ensure operational feasibility and adherence to brand standards.
- Assist operators in executing operational enhancements and compliance efforts.
- Prepare and deliver financial, operational, and performance reports regularly to the Head of Asset Management.
- Engage with staff, vendors, and operators to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations and support strategic decisions with data-driven insights.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, finance, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Extensive experience of 10 to 13 years managing hospitality assets or multiple property portfolios, preferably in real estate or international hotel brands.
- Prior work in the hospitality sector or related industries is essential.
