Role Overview

The Software Development Manager plays a crucial role in expanding and modernizing our software development capabilities in Hyderabad. This individual leads software engineers and directs projects aimed at delivering superior software solutions, specifically focusing on Imaging, Cardiovascular, remote biosensor software, as well as mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software engineers and projects to develop high-quality, effective software solutions.
• Gather, analyze and clearly document user requirements.
• Manage project execution, ensure software quality, and oversee content management efforts.
• Collaborate with leadership across the organization to align software projects with company priorities.
• Design, develop, enhance, deploy, and document software applications.
• Engage in software quality assurance and validation through code reviews and test case executions.
• Provide training to software engineers and end-users for software tools.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least eight years of experience in software development, including a minimum of three years in a project lead or management role.
• Demonstrated ability managing teams and delivering software projects to customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft technologies such as .NET and SQL Server.
• Experience with web technologies like Angular.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
• Preferred knowledge in Microsoft Azure and medical imaging technologies.
• Experience in clinical or regulated environments is advantageous.
