About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to lead the category execution efforts and enhance value creation across the procurement division within Alesayi Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This essential position involves managing the complete procurement process, achieving cost-saving targets, and fostering strong supplier partnerships in a dynamic service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle and execute category strategies effectively.
- Conduct spend analysis and implement cost control measures while delivering procurement savings.
- Evaluate suppliers, manage supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and ensure supply continuity.
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts throughout their term.
- Maintain governance standards, compliance protocols, control mechanisms, and approval workflows.
- Collaborate on Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional client service and engage in cross-functional business partnerships.
- Promote the use of ERP procurement systems, support e-procurement, and drive automation initiatives.
- Manage data analytics, generate reports, and maintain performance dashboards.
- Lead change management projects and continuous process improvement activities.
- Mentor, develop, and enhance team capabilities.
Requirements and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in procurement, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Open to Saudi nationals exclusively.
- Exceptional negotiation skills coupled with strong analytical reasoning capabilities.
- Proven leadership experience with effective communication skills and strong problem-solving ability.
- Meticulous attention to detail along with a mindset geared towards innovation and ongoing improvement.
Preferred Certifications
- Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Diploma or Advanced Diploma
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
