About the Role
Cascades Data Solutions India is seeking a seasoned Python Automation Testing Lead with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years focused on Python automation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks to achieve high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and sustain automation frameworks using Python.
- Develop and run automated Selenium test scripts specifically for web-based applications.
- Conduct API Automation and perform Integration Testing to ensure software component interoperability.
- Lead and guide QA team members in various automation testing initiatives.
- Evaluate test plans, automation codes, and analyze test outcomes.
- Collaborate comprehensively with developers, business analysts, and product teams to gather and understand system requirements.
- Manage defect detection, tracking, and ensure resolution.
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipeline automation and actively participate in Agile methodology ceremonies.
- Compile detailed test reports and provide ongoing status updates for projects.
- Guarantee comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards with timely product releases.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Python programming for automation purposes.
- Expertise in Selenium-based UI Automation.
- Strong capability in API Automation and executing Integration Tests.
- Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Proven leadership experience in QA roles.
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
