Key Responsibilities and Expectations

The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the delivery of major projects while enhancing Hawkins' regional capabilities. This involves leading site teams across diverse commercial construction projects valued from $1 million to over $30 million, ensuring projects consistently meet their scheduled program milestones with top-quality standards.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of site management experience, preferably with renowned main contractors.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects, particularly large-scale developments in healthcare and technical sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of New Zealand building regulations, standards, and construction methods.
• A solid grasp of relevant legislation and compliance standards within the construction industry.
• Focus on meticulous planning and adherence to project schedules.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices.
• Proven leadership abilities, capable of managing complex stakeholder relationships constructively.
• Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
