Job Overview

Join Gratitude India as a US Mortgage Process Associate based in Gandhinagar. This role involves full-cycle mortgage underwriting quality control (QC) for US loans. You will be responsible for evaluating credit profiles, income documentation, appraisals, debt-to-income (DTI) and loan-to-value (LTV) ratios, and ensuring compliance with FNMA and FHLMC guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Thoroughly review mortgage applications to guarantee precise decision-making and risk assessment. Maintain compliance with underwriting service level agreements (SLAs) throughout the loan evaluation process.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate has 6 to 12 years of experience in US mortgage underwriting or QC, with in-depth knowledge of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP) systems, FNMA/FHLMC standards, and analysis of DTI and LTV ratios. Strong analytical aptitude combined with effective communication skills is essential.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a graduation degree in any discipline.
