Key Responsibilities

Procure general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services as per organizational requirements.
Evaluate the institution's needs to draft precise specifications for items to be purchased.
Formulate detailed purchase specifications to guide procurement processes.
Engage in supplier negotiations to secure favorable purchase terms.
Maintain consultations with suppliers throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Analyze and review quotations received from suppliers.
Set contractual terms and conditions tailored to agreements.
Assign contracts to the most suitable vendors or suppliers.
Plan and establish delivery timelines that align with procurement goals.
Track the fulfillment progress concerning agreed delivery schedules.
Interact with clients and suppliers proactively to solve any arising issues.
