About the company
Rilla is building technology to capture and make sense of the offline world. The company’s main product is a sales coaching platform designed for organizations that sell in person. It serves more than 1,000 customers, including The Home Depot, KKR, Neighborly, and PulteGroup, and is supported by investors such as Google Ventures, Bessemer Ventures, Crew Capital, and Broom Ventures.
About the role
This position sits at the center of how hiring works at scale. The team is looking for someone to create the systems, process design, and data foundation that help recruiting run faster and more effectively. The role blends process thinking, analysis, and close partnership with hiring managers, with direct impact on how the recruiting function grows.
What you will do
- Take full ownership of Ashby, including pipeline setup, stage structure, scorecards, automations, and integrations with scheduling and sourcing tools, while proactively resolving issues and improving workflows.
- Review the hiring journey across teams to identify where candidates move quickly, where delays happen, and where the process may be losing strong applicants.
- Create and maintain recruiting dashboards that track metrics such as time-to-hire, stage-by-stage conversion, source performance, and offer acceptance, then turn those findings into actionable recommendations.
- Oversee the broader recruiting tech stack beyond the ATS, including scheduling platforms, sourcing tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter, to ensure each system is used effectively.
- Work with Finance and People Ops on workforce planning and requisition tracking so approved hiring plans stay aligned with hiring timelines.
What you need
- Prior recruiting experience is not required, though experience in sales, operations, finance, or analytical roles can be helpful.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a focus on outcomes rather than just activity.
- The ability to move quickly while still maintaining accuracy and quality.
- A competitive mindset and a comfort with measuring performance and results.
- Coachability, with the ability to absorb feedback and apply it rapidly.
- Persistence and resilience when working toward challenging goals.
- Curiosity about high performers and what drives exceptional results.
How the team works
The company is looking for someone excited to learn recruiting from an operator’s perspective, build from the ground up, and work closely with a team that is deeply committed to its goals.
